Roots Tech is a free, virtual conference dedicated to family history and genealogy. It will include keynote speakers from around the world and an Expo Hall full of exhibitors. Attendees will have the chance to network with other attendees and ask questions of experts. The conference will also feature an original song and a social media campaign called #ChooseConnection.
Registration for Roots Tech is free, but you must agree to the terms of service before you can use it. Once you have registered, you can share information with other RootsTech and FamilySearch users. You can also create a family tree from scratch or import your existing tree via a GEDCOM file. The classes are also available after the conference is over, so you can learn at your own pace.
Roots Tech will feature 700 classes presented by 360 speakers in 30 languages. Attendance will be free, and you can even watch classes after the event is over. The conference will run from March 3-5 in 2022. It will feature 7 Keynote Speakers. It will also be fully virtual. If you can’t make it in person, you can view the presentations online, which will include all classes from the event.
Roots Tech is the largest family history conference in the world. Originally held in Salt Lake City, RootsTech moved to an online format after the outbreak of the covid virus.
