On the baseball field, Eastburn will be matched against Arkadelphia running back Kris Oliver.

Tia Fryar

The list of 2,067 graduating students from Arkansas State University was released recently. The students ranged in age from eight to twenty-one. Some were former Ladycats. Some were a part of the inaugural graduating class. Among them was Tia Fryar, a former head junior high volleyball coach. The list also includes names of graduates, their state and county, and the degree they earned.

Brad Lyle

Head volleyball coach at Mena High School and assistant to the head women’s basketball coach for the Ladycats are Brad Lyle and Leigh Ann Back. Both attended Wickes High School and earned a degree from Henderson State University. Along with coaching, Lyle also has daily academic responsibility at Mena High School, teaching advanced placement government, civics, and history. His goal is to help the Ladycats win the 2014 Big Ten Conference Championship, which will be played Wednesday, November 8.

Basketball Coach

Former Arkansas Tech men’s and women’s basketball coaches Brad Lyle and Mike Hobson will have their first matchup on Thursday night at the Farris Center. Kori Bullard and Courtney Kendig are signed to play volleyball at Ouachita Baptist University and Southern Arkansas, respectively. Former receivers coach Marcus Davis left Hawaii for Georgia Southern, and Bryan Ellis facilitated the nation’s No. 2 offense for Western Kentucky.
