The health science program at Trimble Tech High School has been in existence for decades. It currently enrolls 320 students, about 20 percent of the student body. The program’s faculty members are well-known and respected. It also offers students the opportunity to expand their skill sets. At the end of the school year, 70 students will earn health care certification.
The school is ranked 336th within the state of Texas and is home to ninety-eight percent minority students. It is one of 27 high schools within the Fort Worth Independent School District. Trimble Tech is ranked #4,063 in the national rankings, which are based on the school’s performance on state-required tests and student preparation for college.
In the 2020-2021 school year, Trimble Tech High School had 1,703 students. The school’s enrollment was up slightly, and about seventy-three percent of those students were considered at-risk of dropping out. Twenty-four percent of its students were enrolled in bilingual and English-language learning programs. The school’s accountability rating was B in the 2018-2019 school year. Ninety-eight percent of the Class of 2020 graduated on time, and the school’s dropout rate was 0.5%.
